MoneyLaunders

Money Launderers is an active Investment Group that plays under the USA Flag even though we have Investors from all around the world.  We track our progress and encourage regular activity, though not demanding (after all, this is what they call an Idle time game).  Our goal is nothing short of the top position in the rankings.  We play all different hours of the day and any question may be asked and will get the most honest and accurate answers we can provide.

Now who am I and why am I here?

I am Ayuh and this is the behind the scenes story of the Money Launderers

I am both a twin and a grandfather of 6.  We are a close family and spend a fair amount of time together.  About 2 years ago, my 2 grandsons (yes 4 grandchildren are girls) had my twin and I play this game with them while visiting.  I did play, but didn't think too much about it.  Every subsequent  visit included a little time tapping away.  I never named my toon and changed phones losing that generic toon in the process.

I then discovered that my twin had continued playing it and figured out some of the mechanics and how to progress quicker than most those around him.  He was in an Investment Group and while liking the perks, didn't like that so many Investors were not active and keeping the perks fell on just a few to keep the Daily Challenges going.  I told him, I would play if he started a group.  I saw how the group perks helped but I also saw many group leaders stop playing, leaving the Group to flounder with no chance of progressing.  I didn't want to invest time in a Group only to have it die off and constantly play the moving around game in search of an active Group.  After some chit-chat I ended up starting a toon and later that day an Investment Group.  Ayuh then immediately left his group and joined Money Launderers.  To my surprise, we filled up rather quickly and progressed quite rapidly.  I immediately started keeping statistics each week, something I had learned from playing loads of other games like WOW, DAoC, LOTR, ESO just name a few.  One of my grandsons quit Tap Tycoon and moved onto other games, but the younger one was still playing and he joined after many weeks of negotiating with his Mom.  Pherrett is 8 years old and can only be on either Ayuh or myself are on.  Often his Dad will get on in the evenings to help with the Daily Challenge, but otherwise, his time is limited.

After a few weeks, about half the Investors stopped playing for whatever reason but didn't delete their toons so  we were at the 25 Investor limit, but only 11 or so were active in any given week.  We dealt with this by introducing the Purge.  The process was simple.  Any Investor that hadn't been active was eligible for the Purge.  Remaining Active is simple.  All you had to do was Hit Prestige sometime during the week, Participate in Daily Challenge at least once during the week or send a message in chat letting me know you were interested and notify us in chat if you were going to be away for a while, and roughly how long you expect to be away.  Any 1 of the 3 options would keep you active.  If you were eligible for the Purge, I would go through the Statistics and look for the 2 that had been inactive the longest and lowest wealth ranking.  It was a bit subjective as it wasn't always the lowest ranking and not always the longest time inactive.  It was a gut feeling made from how many weeks they had been in the Investment Group and previous participation.  The maximum Purged on any week was 2 and always happens after War on Sunday.

As we have progressed up the rankings, we have had to make some changes along the way.  When the minimum requirement is level 24, it is easy to find new Investors.  When the minimum wealth ranking is 60, it can takes days to fill a vacancy and at 90 and above it can take weeks and months.  Because of this the inactive time has been expanded to 5 weeks from the original 2 weeks.

I still conduct the Purge but not as consistent as used to.  I am thinking that we need to conduct the Purge more consistently moving forward.  We have lost some very good Investors who thought too many others were inactive for too long and weren't addressed.  We also had one Investor go rogue when it looked like the game servers were shut down for good and that Investor kicked many others and left themselves apparently upset by the inactive Investors.

This little Web Page is updated anywhere from 1 to 5 times a week and is useful in assuring fellow Investors that I am still engaged in the game and a simple place you view our level of  activity and progress.

We are a persistent group and we continue to be among the most active groups continuing our march to the top.  I am humbled and honored to be partied with each and every Fellow Investor helping with this endeavor.  Thank you all for being a part of this adventure!
